The existing grotto and sandpit building is built in 1990. The building is not in an emergency condition, but the equipment is already worn out and does not ensure the efficient use of the equipment. As part of the general structural (building) repair works, the existing worn sand and grease removal bridges were replaced along with the existing scrapers, new sand and grease removal scrapers, and the existing grit tanks were covered. After installing the covers, a ventilation system was installed, which is connected to the existing system with a biological cleaning filter. After installing sand pit covers, the smell emitted by the sewage treatment plant has significantly decreased.
All planned works were completed in August 2024.

According to the project prepared by the customer, the sewage treatment plants of Kelmė was reconstructed.
As new users continue to be connected and the load of organic pollutants increases, the wastewater treatment plants became unable to accept the increased amounts of sludge.
In order to ensure the water quality of the Kražantė River and prevent environmental pollution, the reconstruction of the treatment plant was carried out.
During the reconstruction sewage treatment plant of Kelmė were expanded, were increased its productivity from 2800 m3/d. up to 4000 m3/d., by implementing a continuous and stable wastewater treatment process, ensuring wastewater treatment up to the required environmental parameters.
The reconstruction works of the sewage treatment plant was carried out together with the partner UAB “Gensera”. UAB “Hidrus” selected and delivered the equipment, qualified employees performed its installation, start-up and adjustment works.

New classic-type biological wastewater treatment facilities were designed and built in the city of Simnas (Alytus district).
A domestic wastewater treatment plant has been built with all the necessary structures to ensure the quality of discharged wastewater and the achievement of all treatment indicators.
Built: sewage lifting pumping station with two submersible pumps; sewage pressure extinguishing and distribution chamber; excess sewage leveling tank; complex mechanical sewage treatment plant with integrated mechanical grates and aerated sandbox; incoming sewage reception chute with manual grates and incoming sewage tank/pump with two sewage lifting pumps; a chamber for even distribution of wastewater before the biological wastewater treatment circuit; biological treatment circuit - aerotank - consists of two parallel closed type biological treatment lines with anaerobic, anoxic and aeration zones.
The treatment plant is equipped with devices for automatic collection and removal of washed sludge ( outflows ), and a tertiary wastewater treatment device.
All necessary equipment and devices have been installed: blowers, mixers, pumps, sensors, meters, accounting devices, etc.

The wastewater treatment plants of Želsva were technically outdated, and it was difficult to clean the wastewater up to the standards required by legislation, so the treatment plant was reconstructed: a new treatment plant was built next to the operating treatment plant.
Designed and built closed wastewater treatment facilities, which consist of the following circuits:
- Complex preliminary treatment circuit;
- Biological treatment circuit (2 units) consisting of anaerobic chamber, anoxic chamber, aeration chamber, secondary settler;
- Excess sludge compaction, stabilization circuit (2 pcs.);
- Two working blowers are installed for aeration (one for each technological line), and a third, reserve blower is provided
- Other necessary equipment is installed: mixers, pumps, etc.
The treatment plant has planned and installed the accounting of treated wastewater, installed and equipped with the necessary sensors, meters, sensors, other devices, a phosphate chemical removal circuit, and a coagulant dosing unit.

The wastewater treatment plant of Katiliškiai was technically outdated, the aerotank was not working, it was difficult to clean the wastewater up to the norms required by legislation, therefore the existing wastewater treatment facilities were reconstructed. Designed and built new closed-type biological treatment plants that reduce operation and maintenance costs and ensure good and stable wastewater treatment.
The wastewater treatment plant consists of two identical parallel lines.
The wastewater treatment facilities will consist of the following circuits: complex preliminary treatment circuit (pressure extinguishing chamber, carrier grates and aerated sandbox, distribution chamber); biological treatment chain - two parallel lines (the bioreactor consists of anaerobic- anoxic, aeration zones and a secondary settler).
In the envisaged technology, all phosphorus required to be removed is cleaned biologically, however, reserve equipment for chemical phosphorus removal is provided and a coagulant dosing unit for chemical phosphorus removal is installed.

The wastewater treatment plants of Balsupiai village were technically outdated, the aerotank was not working, and it was difficult to clean the wastewater up to the standards required by legislation.
The configuration of the technological process and the layout of the facilities are designed in such a way as to reduce the operation and maintenance costs and to ensure good and stable wastewater treatment. The main process of the wastewater treatment plant consists of two identical parallel lines. Sewage treatment circuits:
1) Complex preliminary cleaning circuit, which includes: pressure extinguishing chamber/well, manual grates and aerated sand pit, distribution chamber.
2) Biological treatment chain, consisting of: anaerobic, anoxic , aeration zones (chambers) and secondary precipitator.
3) The chain of thickening and stabilization of excess sludge.
In the envisaged technology, all phosphorus required to be removed is treated biologically, but reserve equipment for chemical phosphorus removal is planned and installed.
